Banana-Pineapple Salad
Banana-Pineapple Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange jello, 2 c. hot water, 2 c. miniature marshmallows, 1 (no. 2) can crushed pineapple and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Dissolve jello in hot water.
Add marshmallows and chill.
When mixture has set to the consistency of egg whites, stir in crushed pineapple.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch dish.
Let mixture set up.
Mix sugar, flour, pineapple juice and eggs.
Cook over low heat until thick.
Add cream cheese and stir until smooth, then fold in Cool Whip.
When jello mixture is set, slice bananas on top.
Put cream cheese mixture on top of that, then sprinkle with nuts.
