Banana Nut Cake
Banana Nut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. cake flour, 1 2/3 c. sugar, 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder, 1 1/4 tsp. soda and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour baking pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch), 2 (9-inch) round or 3 (8-inch) round layer pans.
Measure all ingredients into large mixer bowl.
Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping bowl constantly.
Beat for 3 minutes on high speed, scraping bowl occasionally.
Pour into pan.
Bake an oblong pan for 45 to 50 minutes; bake layers for 35 to 40 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
