Banana Nut Bread

Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Cream shortening and sugar in a mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs. Add bananas, vanilla and pecans.
Add dry ingredients; mix well. Spoon into greased 4 x 8-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 50 minutes or until bread tests done.
