Banana Nut Bread
Banana Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 stick (1/4 c.) butter, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 1/2 c. honey, 2 eggs and 1 1/2 c. mashed bananas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cream the butter with a wooden spoon.
Add the sugar and honey and beat until creamy and light.
Add the eggs one at a time, then thoroughly mix in the bananas.
Sift together the flour, soda and salt and blend thoroughly into the mixture.
Finally fold in the nuts.
Butter a 12 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan and pour in the batter.
Bake in 350Β° oven, 1 hour or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
