Banana Nut Bread
Banana Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. plain flour, 1/2 tsp. soda, 1 c. nuts, 2 eggs and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream together sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with bananas, blending well after each addition.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into 2 well-greased loaf pans (9 1/2 x 5 x 3-inch).
Bake at 325Β° for 40 to 45 minutes or until done.
Remove from pan and cool on rack.
Makes 2 loaves.
