Banana Mousse
Banana Mousse is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 ripe banana, mashed, 6 to 8 tbsp. fresh orange juice, 2 to 3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice, 1 c. sugar and 1 egg white, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine mashed banana, juices and sugar.
Mix well.
With an electric mixer, beat egg white until stiff.
Beat heavy cream until stiff and peaked.
Fold egg white into whipped cream.
Add banana mixture to cream mixture, blending well.
Pour into a freezer tray or 5-cup freezer containers or mold.
Cover; freeze 6 hours. Remove from freezer 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
