Banana Cake
Banana Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter, 2 eggs, 2 1/4 c. cake flour and 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
Add eggs, vanilla, mashed banana and sour milk to mixture.
In separate bowl, sift the cake flour, baking powder and baking soda together.
Pour flour mixture into the butter sugar mixture gradually, stirring until ingredients are evenly blended.
Flour and grease 2 round cake pans.
Bake for 30 minutes in a 350Β° oven. Cool.
Use basic white icing for frosting.
Place sliced banana between layers.
