Banana Cake

Soften butter or margarine; gradually add sugar.
Add the eggs and beat thoroughly.
Stir in the bananas and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl sift together the flour, baking soda and salt.
Add half the flour to the banana mixture.
Stir, then add half the milk or sour cream.
Add remaining flour; stir, then the milk.
Mix well.
Pour into greased 9 x 9-inch pan and bake at 350Β° for 40 to 50 minutes.
