Banana Cake
Banana Cake is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 20 minutes. Made with c. shortening, c. sugar, egg whites, c. ripe bananas and c. sifted cake flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream shortening and sugar until light.
(Can use salad oil.) Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
Stir in bananas.
Sift dry ingredients and add to banana mixture.
Mix until well blended.
Pour into 2 (9-inch) pans sprayed with Pam.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Use any vanilla flavored white icing on this cake.
