Banana Bread
Banana Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 2/3 c. sugar and 1/3 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Stir together the flour, baking powder, soda and 3/4 teaspoon salt; set aside.
Beat together the sugar and shortening.
Add eggs, one at a time, and milk; beat after each egg.
Alternately add flour mixture and banana, beating until smooth after each. May fold in 1/4 cup nuts, if desired.
Pour into lightly greased loaf pan.
Bake for 60 to 65 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
