Banana Bread
Banana Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. vegetable oil, 2 c. gold medal all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oven to 325Β°.
Grease loaf pan with shortening.
Mix sugar, bananas, oil and eggs in large bowl.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour into pan.
Bake until wooden pick inserted in center of bread comes out clean, 60 to 70 minutes.
Let cool 10 minutes, then loosen sides of loaf from pan and remove from pan. Let cool completely before slicing.
Makes 1 loaf.
