Baked Tomatoes
Baked Tomatoes is an easy dinner. Made with 4 small firm ripe tomatoes, salt and pepper, 1/3 c. bread crumbs, 2 tbsp. chopped parsley and 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Wash tomatoes and cut off stem ends. Cut the tomatoes in half crosswise.
Sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
Mix the bread crumbs, parsley and oil together in a small bowl.
Spread each tomato half with bread crumbs mixture.
Place tomatoes in greased baking dish.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until bread crumbs are golden brown.
