Baked Sliced Apple Slices
Baked Sliced Apple Slices is an moderately easy dinner. Pare, core and slice apples into eighths.
Combine brown sugar, bread crumbs, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Blend.
Spread 1 tablespoon butter on entire insides of 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Fill pan with alternate layers of apples, brown sugar mixture and orange juice, ending with sugar mixture on top.
Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake in a moderate oven (375Β°) for 15 minutes. Uncover; continue to bake about 1/2 hour longer, or until apples are soft.
