Baked Halibut, Italian Style
Baked Halibut, Italian Style is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 halibut steaks, 1/3 c. chopped onion, 1/2 clove garlic, minced, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine and 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Place fish in greased baking dish.
Saute onion and garlic in butter until onion is tender.
Add tomato sauce, mushrooms, olives, oregano, sugar, salt and pepper.
Heat through.
Pour over halibut and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6.
