Baked Haddock
Baked Haddock is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. haddock fillets, 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. dried bread crumbs, 1 tbsp. minced herbs (thyme and tarragon), 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. margarine, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Spray 13 x 9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
On wax paper, combine crumbs, herbs, salt and pepper.
In shallow plate, beat egg with 1 teaspoon of water.
Dip fillets in egg, then in crumbs, using all of each.
Place fillets in prepared pan.
Pour melted margarine evenly over fillets.
Bake for 30 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Serve with lemon wedges.
Makes 4 servings.
