Baked German Potato Salad
Baked German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. diced bacon (scant 5 oz.), 1 c. chopped celery, 1 c. chopped onion, 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Fry bacon until crisp in medium skillet.
Remove with slotted spoon and reserve.
In there is not approximately 1/4 cup of fat left, add additional bacon fat or oil to make that amount.
Add celery and green onion and cook over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes. Add flour, salt and pepper and cook 2 minutes longer.
Add sugar, vinegar and water all at once and, stirring with a whisk, bring to boil and cook 1 minute.
Add parsley, celery seed and reserved bacon and combine.
Remove from heat.
