Baked Fruit Compote
Baked Fruit Compote is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large can pears, 1 large can peaches, 1 (no. 3) can pitted dark cherries, 1 (no. 3) can peeled apricots and 1 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Drain all fruit, reserving 1/2 cup apricot juice.
Pour fruit into casserole dish.
Lay 2 large fresh strawberries on top. Sprinkle 1 cup brown sugar on top of fruit.
Mix 1/2 cup apricot juice with 1/2 cup rum and pour over fruit.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes.
Serve warm.
(You may mix ingredients together the night before and bake the following day.)
