Baked Fruit is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, 1 (16 oz.) can sliced pears, 1 (16 oz.) can pineapple chunks, 1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves and 1/3 c. raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Drain peaches, pears and pineapple in a colander.

Drain apricots and keep separate from other fruit.

Put all fruit except apricots in a large bowl.

Add raisins, walnuts, 1/2 cup brown sugar and vanilla.

Mix lightly.

Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and place apricots evenly on top.

Cut toasted bread slices into 1/2-inch squares and place on top.

Pour melted butter and balance of brown sugar over entire mixture.

Bake at 325Β° for 30 minutes.

Serves 8 to 10 people.
