Baked Custard
Baked Custard is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 5 eggs, 1/3 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1 qt. milk and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Heat milk, sugar and salt; add lightly beaten eggs slowly to the hot milk mixture.
Add vanilla and butter.
Pour into custard dishes.
Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Bake in a pan of hot water until custard is set (when the point of a knife comes out clean, then the custard is done).
Remove the custard dishes from the hot water and serve.
This is to be baked at 375Β°.
