Melt butter. Add flour, stirring constantly, until smooth. Remove from heat and slowly add milk.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Stir in corn, egg and cheese.
Pour into ungreased casserole.
Bake in a 350Β° oven, uncovered, for 30 to 35 minutes.
