Mix together all but the spears. Place spears in pan.
Pour some of the mixture over the spears, then put chicken over spears and pour rest of mixture over the chicken.

Cover with foil. Bake at 325° for 1/2 hour, then turn oven up to 350° for 1 hour. Serve with rice and mushrooms.
