Baked Apples
Baked Apples is an easy dinner. Made with 4 mcintosh apples (2 lb.), 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/3 c. chopped walnuts, 1/4 c. butter, melted and 1 tbsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Wash and dry apples.
Do not peel.
Cut each apple into eight wedges.
Arrange wedges in a circle in 10-inch pie plate.
Sprinkle with nutmeg, sugar and walnuts.
Drizzle with butter.
Bake, uncovered, in preheated 350Β° oven until tender and crisp and apples hold their shape, about 20 minutes.
Serve hot topped with ice cream.
