Baked Apples is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 to 8 apples (winesap or rome), 1/2 to 3/4 c. honey, 1/2 c. raisins, 1 c. sliced almonds and pinch of nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Halve and core apples. Mix honey, raisins, almonds, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Fill each apple half with mixture and place in a greased flat baking dish.
