Baked Apples
Baked Apples is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 baking apples, cored, 3 tbsp. sugar, 6 tsp. butter or margarine, 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar and 1 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Heat oven to 375Β°.
Place baking apples in 12 x 8-inch or 9-inch baking dish.
Place 1/2 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon butter in cavity of each apple.
Bake 45 to 50 minutes, until apples are tender.
Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and water.
Spoon over baked apples.
Continue baking 10 minutes. Serve warm or cool.
