Baked Apples
Baked Apples is an easy dinner. Made with 1 apple per person, 1 cube sugar or 1 tsp. sugar per apple, 1 tbsp. butter for 4 apples, 3 tbsp. water for 4 apples and 1/2 tbsp. currant or prune jelly per apple, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Wash apples; remove core and peel.
Place in deep Pyrex casserole.
In center of each apple, place 1 cube sugar or 1 teaspoon sugar, butter (size of a nut), 1/2 tablespoon jelly of choice and small amount water.
Cook for approximately 1/2 hour at 250Β°.
Remove from oven; let cool.
Decorate with red jelly.
