Bacon-Fried Chicken
Bacon-Fried Chicken is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 2 1/2 to 3 lb. cut-up chicken and 1/4 lb. bacon, cut into small pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix flour, salt and pepper.
Coat chicken with flour mixture. Fry bacon partially in 10-inch skillet.
Cook chicken and bacon over medium heat until chicken is brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
Reduce heat.
Cover tightly and simmer, turning chicken once or twice, until thickest pieces are done, 20 to 30 minutes.
(If skillet cannot be covered tightly, add 1 to 2 tablespoons water.)
Uncover and cook 10 minutes.
