In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture.
Stir in candy bars.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inch apart onto greased baking sheets.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes or until edges are slightly browned. Immediately remove to wire rack to cool.
