Autumn Apple Salad
Autumn Apple Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained), 2/3 c. sugar, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavored gelatin, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened and 1 c. diced, unpeeled apples, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a saucepan, combine pineapple and sugar; bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
Add gelatin; stir until dissolved.
Add cream cheese; stir until mixture is thoroughly combined.
Cool. Fold in apples, nuts, celery and whipped topping.
Pour into a 9-inch square baking pan.
Chill until firm.
Cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves.
Makes 9 to 12 servings.
