Aunt Velma's Brownies
Aunt Velma'S Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 sticks margarine, 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, 2 eggs, beaten, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. broken pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In a saucepan, over low heat, melt the margarine with the chocolate. Add the sugar, then eggs, one at a time.
In a bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder and pecans. Sift flour mixture into the first mixture. Beat all by hand. Add vanilla and pour into a well-greased 11 x 7-inch pan.
Bake at 375Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
