Aunt Myrtles Fudge
Aunt Myrtles Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. sugar, 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, 1/2 stick butter or margarine, 1 large can carnation milk and 2 tbsp. corn syrup (white), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine sugar, chocolate milk and corn syrup.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring once in a while.
Cover with lid and turn heat down for 3 minutes.
Uncover and cook until it forms a soft ball in a cup of cold water, about 10 minutes. When candy forms soft remove from heat and stir in 1/2 stick of butter margarine.
Enough melt butter.
Let cool bottom of pan.
Add vanilla; beat well.
Add nuts.
