Lay out prepared pie crust as directed on package, using a deep dish pie pan.
Add sugar to eggs and mix well.
Add scalded milk, salt and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour into pie crust.
Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
Bake 10 minutes at 450° and then 15 minutes in 400° oven or until center is pretty well set.
