Aunt Eva's Old Fashion Peach Shortcake
Aunt Eva'S Old Fashion Peach Shortcake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2/3 c. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 c. melted margarine and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Sift first 3 ingredients.
In a measuring cup, put melted margarine and egg, then finish filling to 1 cup with milk.
Add to flour mixture and beat well.
Put into greased and floured 9-inch cake pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool.
Split in half and put peaches between and on top of shortcake.
Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip.
Makes a beautiful dish and it is delicious.
