Asparagus Casserole
Asparagus Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large can green peas, 1 large can asparagus spears, 1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted), 1 can sliced water chestnuts and 5 slices whole wheat bread, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Grease bottom of casserole with oleo.
Melt stick of oleo in pan.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Drain peas and asparagus.
Put asparagus on top of peas; add soup and water chestnuts which have been drained.
Top with shredded cheese, then bread crumbs made from whole wheat bread.
Bake at 300° for 30 minutes.
