Asparagus Bisque
Asparagus Bisque is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can asparagus, drained and chopped, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 c. chicken broth, 1 c. water and 1/4 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In large saucepan, combine asparagus, onions, broth, water, butter and lemon pepper seasoning.
Cook over medium heat until onions are tender.
This will probably take about 10 minutes. Combine flour and 1/4 c. milk.
Whisk until smooth.
Stir into soup.
Add remaining milk or cream.
Simmer for about 5 minutes. Process in blender or food processor until smooth.
Makes about 4 servings.
