Apricot Salad
Apricot Salad is an moderately easy salad you can prepare in about 1 hour 10 minutes. Made with large box orange jell-o, c. sugar, (no. 2) can crushed pineapple (do not drain), large can pet milk, chilled and jars (junior size) apricot tapioca baby food, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Combine Jell-O, sugar, pineapple and its juice in pan.
Heat until mixture comes to a simmer.
Add baby food.
Set in refrigerator until it begins to thicken.
Whip chilled Pet milk, adding softened cream cheese as you beat milk.
Fold into Jell-O mixture.
Pour into large pan (9 x 12-inch glass dish is nice). Top with chopped nuts, if desired.
