Apricot-Orange Salad
Apricot-Orange Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot jello, 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate, 1 apple, chopped fine and 1 c. chopped dates, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Drain juice from pineapple.
Set pineapple aside.
Heat pineapple juice and water to make 1 cup, then dissolve jello with this mixture.
Set in refrigerator to thicken, but not set.
Add orange juice concentrate; stir well.
Add drained crushed pineapple, the chopped apple and chopped dates.
You may add 1 cup chopped nuts; they are optional.
Chill in refrigerator until firm.
Serves 6 to 8.
