Apricot Oat Squares
Apricot Oat Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. quick cooking oats, 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, 3/4 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1 c. butter (2 sticks), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Butter a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan.
Place first 4 ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
Add butter and work in until the oat mixture is crumbly using fingers.
Set 2 cups of it aside.
Press remaining mixture onto bottom of buttered pan. Spread preserves over top and crumble the rest of the oat mixture on top.
Pat gently but firmly.
Bake squares at 400Β° for 20 minutes.
Cool completely and then cut into small squares.
