Apricot Gelatin Salad
Apricot Gelatin Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 16 oz. crushed pineapple, 6 oz. apricot flavored gelatin, 8 oz. cream cheese, 1/2 c. dream whip (dry; not whipped) and 9 oz. apricot baby food, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Heat crushed pineapple in heavy saucepan.
Add gelatin; simmer until gelatin dissolves.
Cool until soft pudding stage.
Mix together the cream cheese, dry Dream Whip, sugar and baby food. Whip until light and creamy.
Combine cream cheese mixture with cooled, slightly thickened gelatin in mixture.
Pour into molds or 9 x 13-inch salad pan.
Chill overnight before serving.
Serves 15.
