Apricot Cake
Apricot Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 2 tsp. baking soda, 3 tbsp. baking cocoa and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add apricots.
Mix in shortening, walnuts and raisins.
Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Bake at 400° for 10 minutes, then turn oven down to 350° for 30 minutes more.
Remove from oven and cool.
