Apricot Bread
Apricot Bread is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. dried apricots, 1 large orange, boiling water, 2 tbsp. butter and 1/2 c. raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Soak apricots in water to cover for 1/2 hour.
Squeeze juice from orange and add enough boiling water to make 1 cup.
Save skins.
Put drained apricots, cut up orange skins and raisins through a food chopper.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add vanilla and beat in egg.
Add fruit and nuts.
Stir in sifted dry ingredients alternately with orange juice mixture.
Pour into greased loaf pan and bake in 350Β° oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
