Apricot Bread
Apricot Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. (1 lb.) dried apricots, cut in half, 1 c. boiling water, 4 tbsp. butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar and 2 eggs, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Soak apricot halves in boiling water for 15 minutes, then cool.
Cream together butter and sugar.
Add eggs to creamed mixture.
Add apricots and water.
Sift together dry ingredients and stir into apricot creamed mixture.
Stir in pecans just until blended.
Bake in greased and floured pan at 325Β° for 1 hour or until toothpick tests clean.
Glaze with apricot jam while still hot.
Probably my most asked for recipe.
Expensive, but worth it!
