Applesauce Puffs
Applesauce Puffs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. biscuit mix, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 c. applesauce and 1 egg, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 400°.
Combine biscuit mix, sugar and cinnamon.
Combine egg, applesauce and milk.
Add to dry ingredients and beat well for 30 seconds.
Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Cool slightly and remove from pans.
Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon.
Dip muffin tops in melted oleo, then in the sugar mixture.
Makes 10 to 12 puffs.
