Applesauce Drop Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. white sugar, 1 c. brown sugar, packed, 2 eggs and 1 c. applesauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix together thoroughly shortening, sugar and eggs; stir in applesauce.
Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, salt and spices; stir into sugar mixture.
Mix in raisins and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Place 1/4 maraschino cherry on top for decoration.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375Β°.
