In large bowl, put first 8 ingredients.
Add lard, applesauce and eggs.
Mix on low then 3 to 5 minutes on medium.
Stir in raisins.
Bake in 15 x 10-inch pan at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Frost or leave plain.
