Applesauce Cake
Applesauce Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. applesauce, 1 tbsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tbsp. cloves and 2 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Put applesauce in bowl; add sugar, spices and oleo.
Cook raisins until puffy; drain.
Sift flour and soda together; add to other ingredients.
Put in a regular bread pan (8 1/2 x 5-inch); bake in slow oven (325Β°) for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Ice with plain confectioners sugar icing.
