Applesauce Cake

Beat together sugar and Crisco and eggs.
Add warm applesauce and baking soda.
Sift together flour and baking powder and cinnamon, cloves, allspice and nutmeg.
Add flour mixture last. Add 1/2 box raisins and 1 cup nuts.
Bake 1 hour in tube pan.
