Applesauce Cake
Applesauce Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 3 tsp. soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. cloves and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream Crisco and sugar; add egg, then applesauce.
Add dry ingredients a little at a time.
Then add raisins, nuts and vanilla.
Pour into large loaf pan, Teflon or line pan with wax paper.
(Makes two small loaf pans.)
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour or until done, testing with a toothpick in the middle of cake until toothpick is clean.
