Applesauce Cake

Reserve 1/4 cup flour to dredge walnuts and raisins.
Sift all dry ingredients into large bowl.
Make a well in sifted dry ingredients.
Add applesauce, oil and eggs; mix.
Dredge raisins and walnuts with 1/4 cup flour.
Add to cake mixture.
Bake in well-greased and floured angel food cake pan at 325° for first 20 minutes and at 350° the last 40 minutes.
Let cool in pan before removing.
