👨🍳 Instructions
Cream shortening and sugar together and applesauce.
Mix raisins with 1/2 cup flour.
Sift remaining flour with spices, soda and salt.
Add dry ingredients to liquid mixture.

Bake in very moderate oven 300° to 325° for 1 hour.
