Applesauce Brownies
Applesauce Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. white sugar, 1/2 c. butter, melted, 2 eggs and 1/2 c. applesauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Blend the sugars and melted butter.
Beat in the eggs and applesauce.
If nuts are to be used, add now.
Sift together the next 5 ingredients and add to the previous ingredients and blend well.
Add vanilla and blend.
Pour into a lightly greased 9 x 13 oblong cake pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Sprinkle granulated sugar over the top of the brownies as soon as they come out of the oven and cut into squares while still warm.
Serve as a cookie bar or serve with a dollop of whipping cream for a special dessert.
